The UAE has extended its visa-on-arrival facility to a larger group of Indian nationals, the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, Customs, and Ports Security (ICP) announced on Thursday.
Previously available only to those holding US tourist or residency visas, Indian nationals with valid UK or EU tourist visas are now eligible for visa-on-arrival in the UAE, provided their passport and visa are valid for at least six months.
Additionally, eligible Indian travelers can now apply for a 60-day visa, priced at Dh250. The ICP has also updated its fee structure for Indian nationals and their family members holding US, EU, or UK visas, residencies, or green cards. A 14-day entry visa is now available for Dh100, and it can be extended for another 14 days for Dh250.
Maj-Gen Suhail Saeed Al Khaili, director-general of the ICP, emphasized that this expansion reflects the UAE’s commitment to strengthening its strategic partnership with India, further boosting economic ties, attracting investments, and positioning the UAE as a leading tourism and economic hub.
